Welcome to Home and Hound. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. All prices and values on this web site are in UK Pounds Sterling and including VAT. We accept credit card payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. When a confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you notice that your order has been shipped. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

This website, found under the www.homeandhound.com URL, is operated by Home & Hound. References to Home and Hound and ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ shall be deemed to be references to Home & Hound. References to ‘you’, and ‘your’ shall be deemed to be references to any person placing an order through www.homeandhound.com website.


When you place and order with us it will be assumed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and conditions, you should contact us before placing an order with us either by phone, email sales@homeandhound.com or by post at the address given below.

By placing an order through our website you are making an offer to Home & Hound to purchase the goods outlined in your order upon the terms described in your order.

When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, full credit/debit card, phone and address details. Failure to supply all of this information will result in Home and Hound not being able to process your request or inform you of acceptance of your order. A contact phone number is needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order. We may, unless you advise us otherwise, provide our couriers with your contact phone number in case they need to reach you to arrange the delivery of your order.

After placing an order online, we will email you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you.

Please note that we will not be able to meet any obligations as a result of the following reasons:

*The product you ordered is unavailable from stock or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.

 *We are unable to authorise your payment

 *Customers who do not reach any order criteria outlined in the Terms & Conditions

 *We have identified that there is a pricing or product description error

 *Our delivery companies are temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control including but not limiting hazardous weather and accidents. 

If there are any issues with your order, one of our Customer Services team will contact you either by phone or email. Please ensure that you check all items on receipt, as faulty or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. 

Home & Hound reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time. Please note that whilst we will make every effort and reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure we cannot be responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.


In order to be eligible to purchase products on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this website under English law you must be over 18 years of age, register using your real name, home address, phone number, email, payment details and any other information we may require. Please note we can not deliver to PO boxes, hotels and accommodation addresses.

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order

Product Pricing & Descriptions

Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description. However some of our items are handmade by artisans, designers and craftsmen where from time to time there may be natural variations to the images supplied.  We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

Whilst we endeavour to keep the website as up-to-date and accurate as is possible, there may be rare occasions when the information on the website (including product descriptions) at a certain time may not reflect the position exactly at the point an order is placed. Please note that we are unable to confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted in line with our order acceptance conditions.

Returns Policy & Making Returns

While we hope that you will be delighted with your order, we do understand that there are occasions when you may want to return an item. 


We will be happy to offer you an exchange or, if you wish, refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with the original packaging. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. 


We recommend that you use insured registered delivery and keep the receipt. Please ensure all items are wrapped securely as we cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. Please note that return postage will not be refunded. Postage costs will only be refunded if goods are faulty. We check everything before we send it to you and do our very best to ensure that all our products leave us in perfect condition. Should you receive damaged goods, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt for instruction. We will of course reimburse you fully for any return postage. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Contract Cancellation

Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish under the Distance Selling Regulations, provided you exercise your right no longer than eight working days after the day on which you receive the products.

If you wish to cancel your order prior despatch, please contact our customer services department by email or phone. If your order has already been despatched then please follow our refund instructions.

Privacy Policy

We will not share, sell or distribute your personal data to any third parties except where a third party is acting for us in accordance with the purposes for which the data was originally collected e.g. if you have placed an order we will share your address with our courier company who deliver our products to our customers, or for purposes to which you have subsequently consented e.g. receiving promotional offers by email.

"Personal data" refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, e-mail address or mailing address and telephone number. When you provide us with any personal data you consent that all personal data that you submit may be processed by us in the manner and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Any personal data that you provide us with is stored in our databases. We will use this data to fulfill any orders placed by you, respond to any queries or enquiries that you may have, and promote our products and services to you unless you opt out of receiving promotional material from us.

As well as personal data, we also collect anonymous information about the use of our Website, for example we use Google Analytics to track which pages on our site are the most visited, and which hyperlinks are most clicked on to help improve our website performance.
